Our 5.8m electric scissor lifts are the perfect solution for safe and efficient indoor work at height. With a platform height of 5.8m and a working height of 7.8m, they’re ideal for tasks such as maintenance, installations, inspections, and more. Designed exclusively for indoor use, these lifts offer zero emissions and quiet operation, making them ideal for environments such as warehouses, offices, and industrial facilities. The compact design ensures easy navigation through narrow aisles and standard doorways, while the small extendable deck provides extra reach for hard-to-access areas.
Models such as the Genie GS1932 and Skyjack SJ3219 are commonly supplied for this hire, both of which deliver impressive performance and versatility. The Genie GS1932 has a footprint of 1.83m x 0.81m, weighs approximately 1,497kg, and features a safe working load (SWL) of 227kg, comfortably supporting two workers and their tools. Similarly, the Skyjack SJ3219 offers a footprint of 1.78m x 0.81m, weighs 1,312kg, and has an SWL of 249kg, ensuring excellent functionality for a variety of tasks. Both models are fitted with non-marking tires, ensuring clean and damage-free operation on finished indoor floors.
Both lifts are equipped with safety guardrails, intuitive controls, and a small extendable platform section, adding extra workspace without sacrificing stability. Please note that these machines are suitable for indoor use only due to their design and weight, and they are not built to operate on outdoor or uneven surfaces.

At SAB Supply, we strive to make the delivery and collection process as smooth and efficient as possible. Here’s everything you need to know about how it works:
Delivery Process:
- Selecting Your Delivery Date: When placing your order, you’ll choose a requested delivery date at checkout.
- Local Delivery: Once your order is placed, we arrange it with the closest local depot that has stock available for your chosen date.
Day of Delivery:
- Delivery Location: All deliveries are kerbside only. Drivers are not permitted to enter properties or back gardens for insurance reasons; however, they can deliver to a driveway or front garden.
- Signing for Delivery: Someone must be present to sign for the delivery, as drivers are unable to leave the equipment without a signature.
Collection Process:
- Hire Period End: The day before your hire period ends, we will contact you to confirm if you’re ready for collection or need to extend the hire.
- Arranging Collection: If collection is required, we’ll notify your local depot, who will aim to collect the next day. Delays are always a possibility and may occur due to busy schedules, traffic issues or driver absence.
- Responsibility for Equipment: Please note that the equipment remains your responsibility until it is collected.
- Collection Location: As with deliveries, all collections must be kerbside. Drivers cannot enter properties or back gardens to retrieve equipment in case they damage anything whilst transporting the kit back and forth.
Abortive Transport Charges:
If a delivery or collection cannot be completed due to the following reasons, we must apply an abortive transport charge:
- Nobody is available to sign for the delivery or collection.
- The driver is unable to contact you via phone.
- The equipment is not kerbside and accessible for collection.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to ensure a smooth process for both deliveries and collections. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact our team for assistance!
