Our Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) scaffold towers are designed for environments where safety around electricity is paramount. Constructed from non-conductive, fire-resistant materials, these towers are ideal for electrical maintenance, rail work, or environments with high fire risk. Offering handrail heights from 3.2m to 9.2m, they provide a secure and stable platform for work at various elevations, meeting the stringent requirements of EN1004 safety standards. Lightweight yet durable, GRP towers are resistant to corrosion, ensuring reliable performance in even the harshest conditions.
The GRP scaffold towers are available in 1.8m or 2.5m widths and 0.9m or 1.5m depths, allowing for flexibility in narrow or spacious work areas. Despite their non-conductive properties, these towers maintain excellent load capacities, making them suitable for heavy-duty tasks. Their simple assembly process ensures quick setup without compromising safety. With a proven track record in specialist industries, these towers provide an essential solution for professionals working in hazardous or sensitive environments. Order today for fast nationwide delivery and ensure your team’s safety without compromising on productivity.
At SAB Supply, we strive to make the delivery and collection process as smooth and efficient as possible. Here’s everything you need to know about how it works:
Delivery Process:
- Selecting Your Delivery Date: When placing your order, you’ll choose a requested delivery date at checkout. Delivery and Collection is completely free anywhere in the UK.
- Local Delivery: Once your order is placed, we arrange it with the closest local depot that has stock available for your chosen date.
Day of Delivery:
- Delivery Location: All deliveries are kerbside only. Drivers are not permitted to enter properties or back gardens for insurance reasons; however, they can deliver to a driveway or front garden.
- Signing for Delivery: Someone must be present to sign for the delivery, as drivers are unable to leave the equipment without a signature.
Collection Process:
- Hire Period End: The day before your hire period ends, we will contact you to confirm if you’re ready for collection or need to extend the hire.
- Arranging Collection: If collection is required, we’ll notify your local depot, who will aim to collect the next day. Delays are always a possibility and may occur due to busy schedules, traffic issues or driver absence.
- Responsibility for Equipment: Please note that the equipment remains your responsibility until it is collected.
- Collection Location: As with deliveries, all collections must be kerbside. Drivers cannot enter properties or back gardens to retrieve equipment in case they damage anything whilst transporting the kit back and forth.
Abortive Transport Charges:
If a delivery or collection cannot be completed due to the following reasons, we must apply an abortive transport charge of £12.50 + VAT (£15):
- Nobody is available to sign for the delivery or collection.
- The driver is unable to contact you via phone.
- The equipment is not kerbside and accessible for collection.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to ensure a smooth process for both deliveries and collections. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact our team for assistance!
